Lee Higman has a new work in ink of a hawk that has to be seen in person to fully appreciate. Bill Hamilton is paying homage to the Sun Valley area’s stellar mountain biking in an oil painting titled “Attacking the Grade.”

And Peter Dyndiuk has a great photograph of Redfish Creek on metal canvas.

These are among 40-some new works of art at the latest exhibition of art at Friedman Memorial Airport.

Friedman Memorial Airport will hold a reception for its latest round of artists from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 17. There’ll be hors d’oeuvres and beverages during the event. And parking will be validated.

Claudia McCain says that the airport exhibit is a great opportunity for Wood River Valley residents and visitors to see local art. And some artists have sold art via the rotating exhibits.
