Does below-average temperatures January through April have you dreaming of sitting on a beach in Mexico?

Blaine County Democrats are auctioning off more than 40 items, including a vacation at an ocean-front villa in Akumal, Mexico; a Sun Valley golf pass and two nights at the Limelight Hotel-Ketchum, in conjunction with their upcoming Clint Stennett Social.

Bids will be taken up until 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, at https://blainecountydemocrats.org/. Click on “see the online auction lots,” then register to bid.

The popular Clint Stennett Social will cap the evening of bidding. It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 6, at The Argyros. It’s a chance to honor retiring and current District 26 legislators and meet candidates who will be running in the primary and general elections.

District 26 has been represented by a Democrat in the state Senate for more than 56 years, according to Karen Bliss, chair of the Blaine County Democrats.

Tickets for the Clint Stennett Social are $50 for adults and $30 for those 30 and under. Appetizers will be provided and drinks can be purchased. Tickets are available at https://blainecountydemocrats.org/

The Blaine County Democrats are comprised of more than 800 active members. Proceeds from the social and auction help pay for headquarters space and a field organizer to get out the vote.
