Dust off your putter, don a fun garb and get ready for the Ketchum Wide Open.
The putt putt golf tournament will wind its way through several Ketchum bars and restaurants on Saturday, May 21.
Bars and restaurants compete to see who can devise the zaniest hole. The Cellar Pub once created a hole that went down the stairs into—well, the cellar. Whiskey Jacques once built a windmill on its rooftop patio.
Registration starts at 11 a.m. and the golfing begins at noon with a 5 p.m. finish. Awards will be presented for the best hole, best costume, best score, youngest, oldest players. There also will be an award for the duffer who traveled the farthest to play.
Cost is $15 per person. Scoring will be based on two-person teams and the best seven holes played. The awards ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the patio of Rico’s Pizza at 200 Main St.
