Meet the Brass at the Next Upbeat with Alasdair

Four brass players will join Alasdair Neale for a special Upbeat with Alasdair presentation on Tuesday, March 14.

Trumpet player Andrew McCandless, horn player William VerMeulen, trombone player Gordon Wolfe and tuba player Peter Wahrhaftig will join the music director of Sun Valley Music Festival at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14.

“Meet the Brass” will take place on the eve of the Sun Valley Music Festival’s Winter Festival being held March 15-17 at The Argyros. Musicians will discuss the unique characteristics of their instruments and how they will be showcased during the winter performances.

Admission is free but reservations will be taken beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, at www.svmusicfestival.org.

The presentation will also be broadcast on the Festival’s website and YouTube channel. No reservations are needed to attended via either of those methods.
