A large bronze mountain goat sculpture by Magic Valley sculptor David LaMure is among the auction items that will be on the table at the 2018 Sawtooth Society Sagebrush Soiree on Saturday, July 28.
The annual fundraiser will be held at 6 p.m. at Mary and Jim Mitchell’s home on Shaw Mesa, which overlooks the Salmon River and the Sawtooth Mountains south of Stanley.
This year’s theme is “Building Tomorrow’s Advocates Today,” and it will focus on the Sawtooth Society’s role of teaching youth to preserve, protect and enhance the Sawtooth National Recreation Area.
The night will include a silent auction, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, sit-down dinner and live auction.
The auction will feature unique dinners, getaways at Redfish Lake Lodge and the Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch, a Hawaiian vacation package and Catalina Island cruise, a large bronze bell cast by Rocky Mountain Hardware and an opportunity to spend an evening with Charles Brandt learning about the mob, Jimmy Hoffa and the upcoming blockbuster movie titled “The Irishman,” which is based on Brandt’s book “I Heard You Paint Houses.”
