Coronavirus has claimed its first three victims in Idaho, the Department of Health and Welfare reported Thursday afternoon. Two of the three were Blaine County residents.

One of the Blaine County residents was a man over the age of 60; the other, over the age of 80. It is not clear whether either had underlying health issues. The third was a Canyon County over the age of 70 with underlying health issues.

Idaho has 148 cases of coronavirus—66 of them in Blaine County.
