STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

Test your driving skills on the Ketchum Police Obstacle Course. Decorate your bicycle and avail yourself of a free bike helmet if you need one.

The Ketchum Police Department, Higher Ground and D.L. Evans Bank are collaborating to put on the 12th annual Bike Rodeo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the south lot of the Wood River YMCA parking lot in Ketchum.

There’ll be a rider safety course, a free bike safety check provided by representatives of local bike shop and free prizes and healthy snacks.

And, if you bend their ears, Ketchum police will be happy to share some helpful information about driving through standing water and the like.
