What does it take to be an Olympian?

Sun Valley has plenty of them, and three of them share their experiences from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Elephant’s Perch in Ketchum.

The “Evening with Olympians” will feature:

  • Sweden’s Maja Dahlqvist, Olympic Silver Medalist and World Cup sprinter who won two silver medals and a bronze at the 2022 Winter Olympics
  • Kevin Bolger, an Olympic and World Cup sprinter, who skis with the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation; and
  • Jake Adicoff, a three-time Paralympian who grew up in the SVSEF program and has a fist full of gold medals and medals of other colors to show for his Paralympic experience.

There will be light refreshments, and Wylde Beet and Warfield food trucks will be on site. There also will be a raffle to benefit the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation Cross Country and Gold teams. Raffle prizes are provided by the BCRD, Toko, Fischer, Madshus, Daehlie, Sun Valley Resort, Smith, Swix, Salomon, Podiumwear, Zenergy, JoJo, Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee, Enjoy Winter and others.
