The 3rd annual Pump Track Challenge for Pre-K to 6th graders will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Quigley Trails Park in Hailey’s Quigley Canyon.

Participants in kindergarten and below will navigate the dirt pump track, while 1st to 6th graders will compete on the paved pump track.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity for youth from Pre-K to 6th grade to engage in friendly competition and enjoy some outdoor activities,” said Jeremy Greenberg, communications manager for the Blaine County Recreation District, which is putting on the event. “We have designed the event to be inclusive.”

Registration for the event is $18 and can be completed at https://bcrd.org.

All registrants will receive entry to the event, a taco ticket courtesy for KB’s food truck on-site, BCRD swag, and participation medals for Pre-K. Trophies will be awarded to the top three performers in each category, with award ceremonies following each age group's competition.

The KB’s food truck will also be available for no-host food and drink.
