Seventy-five volunteers pulled 1,440 pounds of trash out of the Big Wood River, including tires and a sofa, during the 2022 Big Wood River Clean Up.

And it’s expected there’s more trash to be fished out this year.

The Wood River Land Trust is hosting the Big Wood River Clean Up the morning of Saturday, Sept. 30. Volunteers are needed to clean up sections of the river from Bellevue to Ketchum from 9 to 11 a.m.

The event will conclude with a party in Ketchum Towne Square where there will be music from the Hurdy Gurdy Girls and food and drink available for purchase.
