Nordic Cup Fields a Thunder Lizard and Clucking Rooster

Monday, February 20, 2023

The illustrious brontosaurus, also known as the thunder lizard, apparently hasn’t been extinct as has been believed. He showed up at the 2023 Nordic Cup this past week, courtesy of 12-year-old Finn O’Donnell, and looked light on his feet as he skate skied the race course at Quigley Nordic.

Nearly a hundred youngsters turned out for the Papoose Club’s annual ode to cross country skiing, and plenty of parents and siblings came to cheer them on. Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick takes you to the scene in today’s video.
