Did you know that the Lemhi Shoshone believed part of the lovely bitterroot had special powers to stop a bear attack? No need for pepper spray, right?

Meet this low-growing flower found in dry rocky areas around the Wood River Valley and a handful of other wildflowers as Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick and naturalist Kristin Fletcher take you on a flower walk in today’s video.
