Pandemic Parade Video Gives You a Chance to Hear from Friends and Neighbors

Monday, July 6, 2020

Hailey’s pandemic Fourth of July Parade wound three miles through Hailey’s neighborhoods on America’s 244th birthday to allow spectators all the social distancing elbow room they wanted.

Parade participants seemed to relish the opportunity to honor the nation’s birthday and the health care workers and essential workers who have served the Sun Valley area through the coronavirus pandemic.

If you missed the parade…or if you miss many of your friends and neighbors who were in the parade…join Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick as she takes you there in today’s video.

AS FOR THE NUMBERS

Idaho reported 363 new cases on Sunday for a total of 7,733 coronavirus cases as the state-wide curve continues to soar. That's the second highest single-day total after Friday's 401. Blaine County remained quiet for the second day in a row, noted Eye on Sun Valley's Curve architect Paul Ries. Twin Falls County also quieted down the past two days, posting just seven new cases for a total of 669.
