Two meetings to help business owners prepare for the solar eclipse in August will be held today—Thursday, June 1—at Ketchum’s Community Library.
The first will be held at 9 a.m.; the other, at 3 p.m.
A massive influx of visitors are expected for the event on Aug. 21 since the Sun Valley area is in the solar eclipse’s path of totality.
This is the first total eclipse that will be visible coast to coast since 1918.
Solar eclipse parties are being planned for Bald Mountain, as well as Festival Meadows on Sun Valley Road.
Today’s event is hosted by the cities of Ketchum and Sun Valley.
