And learn what tools are available to make your voice heard during the Environmental Advocates Alliance meeting at 6 p.m. tonight—Thursday, June 15.
The program, sponsored by the Idaho Conservation League and Environmental Resource Center, will be held at the ERC office at 471 Washington Ave. N. in Ketchum.
The first 30 minutes of the program will address Executive Order No. 13792, which directs Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke to review 27 national monuments designated or expanded since Jan. 1, 1996. Among them, the beautiful Bear Ears National Monument in eastern Utah, Canyons of the Ancients, Giant Sequoia, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Rio Grande del Norte, San Gabriel Mountains, Vermillion Cliffs and Upper Missouri River Breaks.
Organizers will discuss the tools and actions available to make your voice heard on issues of importance. During the second half of the program, attendees can writing comments and take advantage of other materials and expertise offered by organizers.
The programs are held the first Thursday of every odd-numbered month.
