Kenny & the Starlighters will kick off Mahoney’s Summer Concert Series on Thursday, June 29.
The group is becoming quite well known in the Wood River Valley and beyond, playing fun, danceable summertime tunes, said concert organizer Stefany Mahoney.
The outdoor show at Mahoney’s Bar & Grill on Main Street Bellevue starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free and family friendly.
Mahoney’s has several other free Thursday concerts planned this summer, as well as a special Tuesday night concert:
July 6: Old Death Whisper
July 13: Dead Show, featuring Grateful Dead favorites
July 20: Hellbound Glory
July 27: Str8 UP
Aug. 3: Tony Holliday and the Velvetones
TUESDAY, Aug. 8: Dustin “Sunshine” Schaeffer and band
Aug. 10: Sequestrado
Aug. 17: Tylor and the Train Robbers
Aug. 24: Kim Stocking Band
Aug. 31: George DeVore, the Austin cowboy.
Other free concerts this week:
The Moonshine Mountain Band performs at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at the Sun Valley Brewery in Hailey. The concert follows the first Farmer’s Market of the Season in Hailey in its new location outside the Sun Valley Brewery.
Nicole Christensen and Chuck Smith will take the stage at the free Jazz in the Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at Ketchum’s Rotary Park. The park is located at Warm Springs and Saddle Roads.
Tylor and the Train Robbers will play their country rock from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, at Ketch’em Alive in Ketchum’s Forest Service Park. The park is located at First and Washington streets.
