Grammy Award-winning fiddler Mark O’Connor and his O’Connor Band will headline one of five concerts making up the Sun Valley Center for the Arts’ 2017-18 Performing Art Series.

The series featuring nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians includes a return visit from the International Guitar Night, which sold out in 2017.

Here’s the lineup:

  • Las Migas will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey. The four-women band plays a blend of Flamenco and Mediterranean styles that combine classic and contemporary rhythms and melodies.

The guitarists are Adalusians Marta Robles and Alicia Grillo. The Catalans are Alba Carona, who sings and dances, and Roser Loscos, who plays violin.

  • Mark O’Connor and the O’Connor Band will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 at the Sun Valley Opera House. O’Connor, a revered bluegrass, jazz and country fiddler and violinist, is a four-time grand champion of the National Oldtime Fiddler’s Contest in Weiser, Idaho. He and his band just won the Best Bluegrass Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards in 2017 for their debut album “Coming Home.”

O’Connor has also won Grammys for Best County Music Performance I 1991 and Best Classical Crossover Album in 2000.

  • Tyler Ramsey will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan 18, at the Sun Valley Opera House. Ramsey left Band of Horses to focus on his solo career in May 2017. He is a powerful songwriter and guitar player, who will release a new album in early 2018.
  • International Guitar Night returns to the stage of the Sun Valley Opera House at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6. German Gypsy Jazz legend Lulo Reinhardt will be back with three new acoustic guitarists in tow. They are Canadian sensation Calum Graham, classical innovator Marek Pasieczny of Poland and award-winning American guitar player Michael Chapdelaine.
  • Socks in the Frying Pan will conclude the series at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the Sun Valley Opera House. The 2014 Irish Music Association’s Best New Band has taken all the major Irish festivals in Milwaukee, Wis; Dublin, Ohio, and Kansas City, Mo., by storm. The County Clare natives have captivated audiences with their high energy performances, breathtaking musical ability and three-party harmony.
