Do you have a passion for exquisite cars? Do you enjoy hanging out with others who love cars as much as you do?

If so, you’ll be happy to know that the Sun Valley Silver Car Auction is returning this weekend, showcasing the best classics, European and American sports cars and muscle, luxury and exotic cars ever made.

The auction is being held on the Sun Valley Pavilion Lawn across from the Sun Valley Lodge.

If you’ve ever wanted to attend an auction where you have the chance to buy the car of your dreams, this is the one to attend. The auction features some of the most luxurious cars ever manufactured. And, even if you don’t plan to place a bid, it’s a magical escape back in time to be able to spend time checking out the cars on display. 

More than 250 classic car owners will be on hand to auction off their cars during the auction, which is free to the public.

Participants planning to bid on a vehicle at the auction may want to speak to a company to secure auto transport once the bids have been accepted and the vehicles can be released.

Bidder and preview registration takes place from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. today and Sunday, Sept. 3. The auction itself will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

Auction memorabilia will be available for auction attendees from 10:30 to 11 a.m. each day.

Casual attire is acceptable, even though Sunday’s auction is considered a bit more an upscale and will be set to include a little celebrity panache.

Cars that have been showcased in the auction in previous years include Porsche, Lotus, Crosley and Jaguar.
