The dedication will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13. The ceremony will be held near the south end of the trestle bridge adjacent to Highway 75.
Those attending should park at the north end of Hospital Drive and walk on the Wood River Trail to the site.
Representatives from the Idaho Transportation Department and other committees will make brief presentations about the building of the bridge.
The $5.48-million bridge was completed Aug. 17 after 18 months of construction The highway was widened to four lanes and builders improved the wildlife passage under the road.
Kirkpatrick’s pieces were meant to evoke various parts of the natural and manmade heritage of the Wood River Valley, including Sun Valley’s history as America’s first destination ski resort.
