Two local experts will tell what’s being done to preserve and protect the Big Wood River during tonight’s meeting of Hemingway Chapter Trout Unlimited.
The free presentation, “Big Wood Home Rivers Initiative,” will be offered from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight—Thursday, Oct. 5—at Whiskey Jacques in Ketchum.
Presenters will be Keri York, Trout Unlimited Big Wood River project manager, and Scott Boettger, executive director of the Wood River Land Trust.
The two will talk about joint efforts the organizations are doing, including restoration projects, water management and education.
This is the first in a three-part series about restoration, watershed planning and fisheries in the Big Wood.
