The National Merit Scholarship Corporation recently announced Community School seniors Sofia Lodato and Lucy More as National Merit Scholarship Commended
Students in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Commended Students are recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test.
Lodato and More are among about 34,000 Commended Students in the 63rd Annual National Merit Scholarship Program, recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students
who entered the 2018 competition based on their results in the 2016 Preliminary SAT/National
Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT.
