The Advocates have been gifted $7,400 for their Skills for Success program from 100 Men Who Care.
The program, run by Susan Fierman, teaches participants resume building and other skills that they can use to obtain jobs that provide better wages.
In the process, Skills for Success helps improve the social, emotional and economic well-being of its clients as they learn about expanding their education and building a career path.
With that gift, 100 Men Who Care has donated $106,850 to valley nonprofits since its first meeting in 2013.
Next year’s meetings will be held on Jan. 9, April, 10, July 10 and Oct. 9 at 5:30 p.m.at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden. For more information, visit www.100menwhocarewoodrivervalley.com.
