Check out the Picassos of the future on Tuesday when the Big Wood School hosts its annual Gallery Walk.
Big Wood School master artists will present “Inspire Your Heart with Art” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the school, which sits in an annex of the Church of the Big Wood at Warm Springs and Saddle roads.
The halls of the school will be transformed into an art gallery, showcasing an array of unique and one-of-a-kind creations. This year’s art will be a closely veiled secret until the ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m.
Last year’s vast collection of art featured a variety of mediums, including buttons, felt, watercolor, cubism, sparkly pine cones and collage in works influenced by masters like Katsushika Hokusai, Diego Rivera, Andy Warhol and, of course, Pablo Picasso.
Attendees will get a chance to mix and mingle with the artists themselves over refreshments.
