AJ Balukoff, who is running for governor, is staging a Meet and Greet in Blaine County.
He’ll be at Wiseguy Pizza in Hailey, 121 N. Main St., from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight—Tuesday, April 3.
Balukoff served for two decades with the Boise School District. He has vowed to expand Medicaid in Idaho, covering the 80,000 Idahoans who currently are not able to afford medical insurance.
An avid hiker, fisher and hunter, he has said he will fight to efforts to sell off Idaho’s public lands to special interests and out-of-state billionaires who might lock Idahoans out of popular recreational areas. He also has said he will work to preserve public access now and for the future.
