Learn about pest management, pollinator protection and weed control during a Free Spring Landscape and Weed Management Workshop.
The workshop will be presented from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Community Campus in Hailey. Complimentary coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The workshop is presented by the Environmental Resource Center, Wood River Land Trust and Blaine County.
It’s designed for everyone from homeowners to landscapers and property managers.
The new Wood River Water Resolution Guidelines will be presented, along with tips for reducing water usage via the latest technologies in irrigation. John Cenarrusa, Blaine County’s noxious weed superintendent, will tell what he’s doing to control noxious weeds.
Other speakers include Carl Hjelm of Alpine Tree Service and Travis McBride of Silver Creek Supply.
Two pesticide credits are available.
