Learn how many tornados have touched down in Idaho and more when the ERC’s 2018 Spring Science Series presents a free program on the weather.
Alana Jensen of Idaho National Laboratory’s Environmental Surveillance Education and Research program will indulge in that favorite pastime of talking about the weather at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, in the Queen of the Hills Room at the Community Campus in Hailey.
She will cover such topics as heat, temperature, clouds, winds, precipitation, air pressure and extreme weather.
The program is part of the 3rd annual Spring Science Series offered by the ERC and College of Southern Idaho. They run in conjunction with the ERC’s Spring Exploration Series, which brings presenters from across the Northwest to second- and third-grade classrooms in Blaine County.
This year’s series runs every Wednesday through May 23.
