Learn about the State of The District when the Blaine County School District holds a series of community meetings called “State of the District: Give 30, Get 30.”
Officials will outline how they plan to meet the district’s motto to inspire, engage, educate and empower every student by 2020 in meetings that begin on Wednesday, May 9.
Officials plan to dedicate 30 minutes to presenting updates on the district and 30 minutes to fielding questions.
The district does have some good news about how it’s graduating more students. Officials will also talk about their proposed budget, which purports to maintain small class sizes while striving toward a balanced budget.
The Blaine County School District serves 3,470 students.
Spanish interpretation will be available at all meetings. And attendees will be entered into a drawing for a JBL Flip speaker, compliments of Cox Communications.
