Put on your detective’s cap and take a stab at solving a “Mammoth Murder Mystery” on Wednesday, May 23.
Virginia Jones of the Idaho Museum of Natural History in Idaho Falls will facilitate a crime scene investigation working to solve the murder mystery of a baby mammoth at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Queen of the Hills room at the Community Campus in Hailey.
The presentation, which will also offer up interesting information about ice-age animals and life on earth thousands of years ago, is part of the third annual Spring Science Series offered by the Environmental Resource Center and College of Southern Idaho.
The informative programs are free and family-friendly. They are held in conjunction with the ERC’s Spring Exploration Series, which goes into second and third grade classrooms across Blaine County.
This is the final presentation in this year’s series.
