The City of Ketchum is inviting residents to celebrate Ketchum’s successes and help shape its future through Friday’s “A Fair on the Square.”
The event will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Ketchum Town Square. There’ll be refreshments, music and activities for kids.
And city officials will be on hand to discuss a variety of topics, including ways to improve downtown, create a variety of housing choices, become a more sustainable community, attract and keep the next generation of entrepreneurs, families and leaders. Also on the table: Best uses for the light industrial zone.
“It’s a time to focus on our community, float ideas and get feedback,” said Ketchum Mayor Neil Bradshaw. “For instance, we have five different initiatives on housing, as well as ideas addressing the vibrancy of our community.”
In addition, Idaho Smart Growth—a nonprofit organization focused on creating healthy, vibrant communities—will present awards to community leaders who had a part in developing the Ketchum Town Square, the Fourth Street Heritage Corridor and a local residential project.
