Sun Valley REALTORS Give President Heather Burnett has an opportunity to win $5,000 for various charity programs in the Wood River Valley.

But she needs your vote to do it.

Burnett was chosen as the only Blaine County finalist of 10 in the Pioneer Federal Credit Union’s Community Pioneer Contest. That means the foundation has the opportunity to win $5,000 for 5B REALTORS for Veterans, which refurbishes local veterans’ homes and yards, as well as the Holiday Basket program for families in need and scholarships for community-involved high school students.

Sun Valley REALTORS Give is asking the community to vote for Burnett through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 22. Voters can cast votes at https://www.pioneerfcu.org/Promotions/Community-Pioneer-Winners.

“Every dollar counts and the winnings will go directly to the foundation’s programs, which support hundred of Blaine County residents,” said Jessica Cruz. “The Foundation provides sustainable housing assistance to local veterans through 5B REALTORS for Veterans, gifts of food and warm clothing for hundreds of families in need and scholarships to students who give back to the community. SVRG depends on the generosity of the community to continue serving those who need support.”

Burnett moved from California in 2008 to help her father with the family restaurant, and she loved Idaho so much she never returned to the Golden State. She and her husband, also a real estate agent, love their mountain lifestyle here and recently became proud parents of an 8-month-old puppy named Dash, who is undoubtedly licking his chops to join them in the great outdoors.
