Enjoy a slice of small town Americana Sunday and Monday when Bellevue holds its two-day Labor Day Celebration.
It is the town’s 94th Labor Day celebration.
Bossa Rhumba, Mia Edsel and Tylor & the Train Robbers will be among those playing music in the park. And a 5K Run/Walk will precede the Labor Day parade.
The musical lineup in Bellevue Memorial Park on Sunday, Sept. 2, will feature:
1 p.m. Two Gun Rig
2 p.m. Renovacion 420
3 p.m. Old Death Whisper
4 p.m. Michaela French & Uncalled For
5 p.m. Sofa King
The musical lineup on Monday, Sept. 3, will feature:
1 p.m. Hurdy Gurdy Girls
2 p.m. Mia Edsel and Friends
3 p.m. Tylor & the Train Robbers
4 p.m. Dewey, Pickett, & Howe
5 p.m. Bossa Rhumba
The 5K Run/Walk will take place at 9 a.m. starting at Bellevue Memorial Park at North Third Street. It costs $20 and runners can register online https://www.raceentry.com/races/bldc-5k-fun-runwalk/2018/register.
Registration is $30 on the day of the run. Runners will receive bandanas, and proceeds from the run will go to the Bellevue Fire Department’s Burn Out Fund, which helps those who are impacted by fire.
The parade on Monday begins at noon and will head south down Main Street from Beech street.

If you don’t want the music to end, belly up to Mahoney’s Bar and Grille in Bellevue Sunday evening. Jeff Crosby will take the stage about 7 p.m.—right after Sofa King wraps up its performance in Bellevue Memorial Park.
