Remember trying to figure out whether it was Colonel Mustard in the conservatory with a wrench? Or, Mrs. Peacock in the billiard room with a candlestick?
Relive the classic mystery game of Clue via a madcap romp through the theater when The Wood River High School Drama Department presents “Clue…On Stage.
The comedy will be staged at 6 p.m. tonight—Thursday, Oct. 11, and 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater in Hailey. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for high school students, $3 for middle school students and $1 for children, available at the door.
The performances are free for Wood River High School alumni who work for WRHS.
The play takes place, of course, on a dark and stormy night as the audience is invited to a very unusual dinner party at Boddy Manor.
It would probably have been a lovely party, except for the dinner host turning up dead.
Each of the dinner guests popularized by the classic Hasbro game have an alibi. But the butler has a variety of weapons in hand. And each must race to find he murderer before the body count stacks up.
While similar to the film, there will be twists and an unexpected ending.
“It’s a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist,” said Director Karl Nordstrom.
The cast features Koii Lauritsen, Sam Bingham, Sam White, Taylor Telford, Juliette Rollins, Jessica Timmons, Will Pullin, Joey Ziesing, Justice Petzoldt, Neva Baer, Eli Anderson, Sarah Feltman, Skyler Yuengling, Maddie Fortner, Viri Lemus, Abagaile Funk, Max Gardenswartz, Jillian Osenga, Karly Rasberry, Fisher Albright, Fabian Hurtado, Griffin Penn, Dakota Countryman, Edgar Vega, Gracie Gibson, Brennan O’Leary, Beckler Thomas and Bella Sandefer.
Assistants are Rocio Chavolla, Cathy Reinheimer, Hilarie Neely and Julie Fox.
