Thanksgiving comes early this year—on Nov. 22.
And that means an early start to Sun Valley’s ski season—provided there’s enough snow.
Sun Valley Resort is holding a Pray For Snow Party on Saturday Nov. 10, hoping people will pack the River Run Lodge and pray for snow.
The party will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. There’ll be giveways, music, dancing, a raffle, and ski movies.
And party sponsor 10 Barrel Brewing company will be serving up its specialty brews, including its new Haulin’ the Fallin’ American Brown Ale created for Sun Valley Resort.
The brew honors the Sun Valley Ski Patrol. It’s part of a 12-can mix-pack featuring beers created for Mount Bachelor in Oregon and Sugar Bowl in California.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in 1980s costume.
Everyone who brings a non-perishable item for The Hunger Coalition will get a raffle ticket for a drawing of prizes donated by POC, Smith Optics, lift tickets, bowling and gift certificates to the Sun Valley Spa. One lucky winner will get a Challenger season pass.
Admission is free.
