STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

Give thanks for the fruits of the earth and the good community that we enjoy at an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service being held at 5:30 tonight—Sunday, Nov. 18—at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Ketchum.

Mother Lea of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Hailey will officiate. At least 11 area churches and faith communities have agreed to participate.

Cash donations will be used to support valley residents with urgent needs (checks can be made to the Interfaith Relief Fund).

Personal hygiene products and household cleaning supplies will also be accepted for The Hunger Coalition since these kinds of items may not be purchased with food stamps.
