A Holiday Pup-Up Show for Diane Rosenblum’s “Golden Drawings” will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at architectural resources-b&b italia at 110 Lindsay Circle in Ketchum.
The exhibition will go up today—Thursday Dec. 27--and will last into the new year.
Rosenblum’s “Golden Drawings” features intuitively interactive and architecturally stimulating metallic collages.
The glow-in the-dark paintings speak of economic systems, of gilded architecture, of standards and currency.
They’re whole and complete unto themselves but also work well in series to create larger compositions and narratives. The painted collages are 13 by 9 inches framed in white.
Rosenblum studied studio art and art history at Oberlin College. She has a Master’s degree from the Brooks Institute of Photography.
She has exhibited internationally in China, Argentina and throughout the United States. Her work is in 20 museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, the LA County Museum of Art in Los Angeles and the Albertina Museum in Vienna.
The show is curated by Robin Reiners, who used to own Gallery DeNovo in Ketchum.
