Idaho’s first female Lt. Governor—Janice McGeachin—will headline the 2019 Lincoln Day Brunch.

The Blaine County Republican Women and Blaine County Republican Central Committee will host the brunch at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Community Campus in Hailey.

Cost is $30 per person.

McGeachin is a business owner from Idaho Falls who has a vacation home in the Wood River Valley.

She served in the Idaho Legislature for 10 years and will have been in her new office less than a week when she meets with Blaine County residents.

Blaine County Republican Chairman Mike Leach noted that the county will hold the first Lincoln Day event of 2019.

“It is an honor for Legislative District 26 to again be the ‘Iowa of Idaho,’ ” he added.
