Sun Valley Ski Education is hosting the 49th annual Arkoosh Cup on Sunday, Feb. 17 at Rotarun.
That’s right. The kiddos have been racing their hearts out on giant slalom runs down the mountain for 49 years.
“We look forward to this event every year—it’s great to see fresh faces out there and it’s nice to change up venues and host a race in the South Valley,” said Julia Seyferth, spokesperson for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation.
The race is open to all youngsters, whether or not they’re on a SVSEF team.
It starts at 10:30 a.m. Register at www.svsef.org or between 9 and 9:45 a.m. on site the day of the run.
There will be a food truck on site.

Rotarun, by the way has free skiing and boarding every Wednesday and Friday evenings throughout the season. Rotarun is located at 25 Rodeo Drive off of Croy Creek Road in Hailey.
