Want to know the top eight strategies that the best estate plans employ?
St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation is holding a free Planned Giving Luncheon Seminar.
The free seminar will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, in the Bailey Studio of the Argyros Performing Arts Center in Ketchum.
The presenter will be Johni Hays, an attorney and senior vice president with Thompson & Associates, a values-based estate planning service founded in 1996 with the idea of putting the donor’s needs first, rather than the nonprofit’s.
Hays, a national estate and charitable planning expert, will discuss the use of strategic retirement and estate planning techniques to minimize your taxes and maximize your assets while benefitting family and community.
Hays is the author of “Essentials of Annuities” and the co-author of “The Tools and Techniques of Charitable Planning.” She sits on the boards of the Smithsonian Professional Advisor Legacy Council and the Charitable Estate Planning Institute.
She is said to have a quick wit and engaging personality that makes the sometimes-complicated topics of estate planning fun and easy to understand.
The event will not include a solicitation on behalf of the St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation or other organizations.
RSVP with Marsha Edwards at 208-727-8416 or edwardma@slhs.org.
