Sit tight. And meditate. And increase your benevolence.

The Flourish Foundation will launch a three-week series titled “Meditations on Benevolence” beginning Sunday, Feb. 24.

The series will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sundays on Feb. 24 and March 3 and 10 at the Flourish Foundation office at 1030 Airport Way in Hailey.

Flourish Foundation Director Ryan Redman and his sidekick Noah Koski will offer practical strategies for unveiling the kindness within.

Research shows that cultivating kindness through a daily practice of meditation can decrease depressive and PTSD symptoms,  diminish feelings of social isolation, decrease chronic pain and migraines, promote empathy and helping behaviors and increase positive emotions and emotional intelligence.

Cost for Flourish U is $60. To sign up, email paige@flourishfoundation.org.
