Remember Mister Rogers, the unassuming, minister, puppeteer who was welcomed into thousands of homes across America as part of his TV show “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood”?
Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville never forgot. Neville took an intimate look at Fred Rogers, who inspired generations of children with compassion and limitless imagination, and made a movie about it.
“Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” will be shown at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the Sun Valley Community School Theatre.
It’s been called “a documentary you want to hug” by The Hollywood Reporter. And We Live Entertainment said “it isn’t just the best documentary of 2018 but one of the best documentaries ever made.”
The free showing will be followed by a group discussion.
