Are you up for the Gauntlet of Games? It’s an epic obstacle course complete with slip-n-slide, pond crossing, tunnels, mazes and more. And it’s part of the annual Olympic Day.
The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation will host its sixth annual Olympic Day from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Sun Valley Community School’s Dumke Family Sagewillow Campus.
The event is part of an international movement held in cities that boast Olympic training sites and is designed to promote sportsmanship, healthy habits and teamwork.
It’s free and open to all Wood River Valley children ages 7 through 18, regardless of whether they are among the 700-plus young athletes who take part in SVSEF programs.
There’ll be prizes for top teams and Olympians in attendance. KB’s food truck will be onsite.
To register, visit www.svsef.org. Helmets and close-toed shoes are required.
