They come from as far away as Mexico, Brazil and Australia test their skills in the most dangerous eight seconds in sports.
Thirty-five of the top bull riders in the world will pit themselves against a bunch of big ornery bulls ready to supply some nonstop bucking action.
The Sun Valley PBR Classic, a stop for the Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division, is coming to Hailey on Saturday, Aug. 3.
The event will kick off with the top 35 professional bull riders appearing at 7 p.m. at the Hailey Rodeo Arena. The competition itself starts at 8 p.m. Young local cowboys will have a chance to get in on the action, as well, with the Cowboy Lifestyle Network checking them out.
Tickets are $20 for general admission and $55 for the Pendleton VIP bull pen ticket. The latter includes special seating, grass fed beef from Silver Springs Ranch, cocktails and beer.
Tickets are available at Les Schwab Tires, the Hailey Visitor Center, Atkinsons’ Market, the Sun Valley-Ketchum Visitor Center and online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sun-valley-pbr-classic-tickets-63589519966.
