Master Yoga Teachers Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee will hold a Weekend Yoga Workshop Friday through Sunday, Oct. 18-20, at Ketchum’s Limelight Hotel.
The workshop will cover the ins and outs of Asana physically and physiology, of pranayama or breath work, meditation and philosophy as it relates to contemporary living.
The Yees are known for their work with Donna Karan, co-creating UZIT Urban Zen Integrative Therapy. The mission of UZIT is to change the present healthcare paradigm, treating the patient—not just the disease.
It trains members of the healthcare and yoga communities in the healing modalities of yoga therapy, Reiki, essential oil therapy, nutrition and contemplative care. And it treats the classic symptons of illness, which the Yees refer to as PANIC (pain, anxiety, nausea, insomnia and constipation), as well as exhaustion.
They will offer six classes—three advanced and three for all levels—during their weekend in Ketchum.
