Dust off your Vuarnets. Shove your feet into those old leather boots. Take your old puffer jacket off the hanger. And slip into Maria Bogner’s stretch pants which—yikes—revealed the curves of women’s bodies in the early 1950s.
Come dressed to impress as Glen Plake and other ski legends during Sun Valley Resort’s second annual Apres for Snow Party on Friday, Nov. 22.
Sun Valley will be giving out awards for different costume categories and you could be crowned the first-ever King and Queen of Snow.
The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22., at River Run Lodge. And, if luck has it, a few snowflakes will christen the party, just as they did the inaugural one in 2018.
There’ll be drink specials, a photo booth, giveaways, live music and dancing, a ski pass raffle and more. Sun Valley’s Kelli Lusk says the crowning is expected to take place between 7 and 7:30 p.m. and the grand prize drawing for the Challenger season ski pass around 8:15 p.m.
Then, of course, it’s on to the big countdown until opening day of the 2019-20 ski season on Thanksgiving Day.
