Spirit ‘n Motion Athletic School will host its third annual Christmas Classic in Sun Valley Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8, at Wood River High School gymnasium in Hailey.

More than 300 athletes from Idaho and Utah are registered to compete in the regional gymnastics meet. The public is invited to watch.

Spirit ‘n Motion is home to several of the top ranked gymnasts in the state and Region 2. Coaches promise spectators will see some amazing athleticism.

“We are beyond thrilled to bring this event and all the athletes and their families to our community,” said SMAS Head Coach Amanda Wilson. “Our high school is a beautiful venue and people love coming to this gymnastics meet.”

Spirt ‘n Motion was founded to teach respect, sportsmanship, self-esteem, self-discipline and self-confidence through cheerleading, gymnastics, stunting, jumping, dancing, ninja training and fitness. It offers classes year-round, including summer camps.
