Ski the North Valley Trails free on Ski Free Day! Sunday, Jan. 12.

The Blaine County Recreation District is offering free skiing on all of its trails including those around Galena Lodge, the Harriman Trail, Prairie Creek, North Fork and Durrance loops, Lake Creek and Quigley Nordic. Billy’s Bridge is closed awaiting more snow, save for The Connector.

Use of the BCRD’s snowshoe trails will also be offered free that day.

Dogs are welcome on a couple loops at Quigley Nordic, three trails originating at SNRA headquarters and two trails at Galena Lodge.

You can skip the driving and catch the Mountain Rides ‘Ride n’ Glide bus from Ketchum to Galena lodge and points in between. A season pass is available for $19. Day passes are available, as well.

For more information, visit www.bcrd.org. Or call 208-578-XSKI.
