Ryan Blaser from Test My Home will discuss the potential dangers of electromagnetic radiation in the home at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 15 E. Bullion St. in Hailey.
Blaser, a building biologist and electromagnetic radiation specialist living in Sun Valley, will show a video and discuss how 5G technology could impact people’s health. 5G. is the fifth generation of cellular technology.
Blaser has been an electrical engineer for the Department of Energy nuclear division and a field engineer for the Department of Environmental Quality. He became interested in toxic environmental exposure when he realized that his home was making himself and his wife sick.
The free presentation is being presented by Protect the Wood River Valley, a group that is pressing for a moratorium on the implementation of 5G technology in the Wood River Valley until potential hazards for human health and the environment can be assessed.
The group has asked Ketchum and Hailey City council members and Blaine County commissioners for a moratorium until it can be proven that the towers do not emit dangerously high levels of microwave radiation.
Some believe that harmful effects of cell tower radiation include neurological problems, cancer, fatigue, headaches, sleep problems, anxiety, ringing in the ears, heart problems, learning and memory disorders and sterility.
