The coronavirus has put the chills in Halloween. But it hasn’t spooked Halloween celebrations out of the valley completely.
The Wood River Community YMCA will hold a Halloween party full of treats, spooky creatures, activities and fun from 4 to 6 p.m. today—Wednesday, Oct. 28—at Bonni’s Garden outside the Y.
Children are invited to dress up in costume and take part in an obstacle course through the haunted greenhouse to collect individually packaged treats. There will be trivia questions for prizes and mysterious creatures to greet all comers.
Everyone must wear a mask and be socially distanced. Only one person can go through the maze at a time. And no one can touch the decorations or obstacles in the maze.
