Learn about The Advocates’ work to address domestic abuse and sexual assault during a presentation on Wednesday titled “If These Walls Could Talk.”

The virtual presentation will be held at noon Wednesday, March 17, on Zoom. Call Susan Fierman at 208-788-4191 or email her at susan@theadvocatesorg.org to reserve your spot.

The Advocates served 215 adults during February—30 of them new clients. It sheltered 11 people and fielded 1,155 calls for services.

The Advocates’ Executive Director Tricia Swartling will also speak at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Spur Community Foundation’s Roundtable Series. This segment—the third in the series—will focus on nonprofits addressing human services.

Representatives of the Blaine County Charitable Fund, The Senior Connection, NAMI, Crisis Hotline, The Alliance of Idaho, The Hunger Coalition and Mountain Human will also take part in the discussion. To join, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQTUhI6xbxk
