With temperatures expected to hit nearly 60 degrees on Sunday, this would have been the perfect occasion for Sun Valley Resort’s annual Pond Skim.

There will be no Pond Skim this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But Sun Valley Resort has promised treats and surprises for those who show up to bid adieu to Dollar Mountain this Sunday, March 28.

Dollar Mountain will close for the season on Sunday, as will Seattle Ridge and its new Broadway Lift. It should be a super duper closing, given the nine inches of fresh snow that Sun Valley got on Thursday.

Baldy is slated to close its daily operations on Sunday, April 11.
